I am always excited about food. So I plan ahead of time what I will eat tomorrow.
Cooking food is more fun than eating. I have cooked food since I was a teenager. After moving from Bangladesh, I became more expert.
Finding all the Bangladeshi ingredients to make a perfect Bangladeshi dish is challenging. However, sometimes I use local ingredients and cook them deshi style.
YouTube is a great place to learn how to cook. But, when I follow them, it always turns out like- “that was not what I was expecting.” In other words, YouTube video does not work for me. Sometimes I watch them for inspiration, but I twist and follow my method.
Most of the cooking I learned from my mom, something I call her and get her instructions.
Hilsa fish was my favorite when I was in Bangladesh. This fish I miss the most here. Sometimes you will find them in Bangladeshi grocery stores, but they do not taste like I used to eat in Bangladesh.
I like the natural Atlantic Salmon here. Most of the time, I cooked it as fish curry. However, sometimes I also grill it with various other vegetables.

I eat Ramen a lot here. There are many Korean groceries here, and you will find various Ramen and savory ingredients.
So what do I usually eat?
Take today as an example. It was the weekend, Saturday today. I wake up at 6:30 am. For those who know me, you might be wondering how I wake up so early. As I always used to go to sleep so late and wake up in the middle of the day. Now, I changed a lot. So it feels good to wake up early in the morning.
I cooked Ramen today for breakfast. It took me 25 minutes. The ingredients were Ramen, Broccoli, Carrots, Spring Onions, shrimp, and Cheddar Cheese. It turned out very well.
